Biography

ESSEC

Maciej Workiewicz is an Associate Professor of Management at ESSEC, where he teaches strategy and strategic management courses in the school's Masters in Management, GMBA, and Executive Programs as well as strategy, organization theory, computer simulation, and machine learning in the school's doctoral program. In his research he focuses on how organizational structure influences the way companies adapt to industry change and innovate. His research has been published in the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Organization Design and the Journal of Management Inquiry. Before joining ESSEC in 2016, professor Workiewicz received his MBA from INSEAD, and later earned a PhD in Management (Strategy) from the same school. Prior to INSEAD, professor Workiewicz worked at Deloitte in Canada and at Siemens in Germany.
