Dr. Lynn Reinke is an Investigator in the Health Services Research & Development Division at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, WA and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Systems at the University of Washington’s School of Nursing. Dr. Reinke’s research focuses on improving the delivery of end-of-life care for patients with advanced, life-limiting illnesses, specifically patients with lung cancer, COPD and multimorbidities. Her studies are designed to test system integration of palliative care into subspecialty and primary care services. Dr. Reinke’s health care policy interests include improving early access to community palliative care services and the provision of value-based care for seriously ill older adults.
