Boston University
Lydia Reichensperger is a research fellow at TPRI. Her current research focuses on automation and artificial intelligence. Further research interests are economics of innovation, inventor networks, profile of innovators, and intellectual property.
Lydia graduated in International Business from TH-Nürnberg, Germany, in 2012, and she received a MSc, summa cum laude, in International Business and Economics from the University of Pavia, Italy, in 2014. She remained at the University of Pavia (Nov 2014 to Oct 2017) as a PhD student in Economics and Management of Technology (concentration in Innovation Economics).
Lydia successfully defended her PhD thesis, “Three essays on inventors, inventions, and innovation,” in July 2018 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy.
She has worked as a Teaching Assistant and later as a Contract Professor at University of Pavia (Italy) and has lectured Economics and Business courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
