Vlerick Business School Executive Education

Louis makes his students consider how current events drive “competing truths”, in governance, ethos, law and ethics. Professor Louis Verbeke is Doctor in Law (Ghent, Belgium) and holds a master degree of Vlerick. He also holds an LLM of Virginia University (US). He is a member of the Brussels Bar. Until August 2005 he was Senior Partner at the global law firm Allen & Overy. He is Chairman of Vlerick Business School and Honoury Chairman of the Belgian Institute of Directors. He chairs and is Director of several listed and unlisted corporations and writes a monthly chronicle for De Tijd, Belgium’s leading business paper. His main interest focuses on how internationally politics, law, ethos and ethics interrelate; he teaches about the consequences, e.g. in respect of governance, policy and M&A.
