Responsible:1) for ensuring that all governmental regulations are met on time; develop alternate materials/technologies; 2) that all suppliers in emerging countries are audited and conform to IBM's supplier code of conduct. Enable and track improvements; 3) for deployment of Supplier/Supply Chain Risk Management Tool and Process; 4) execution of internal and supplier Pandemic Contingency Planning readiness. Director, Procurement Services, Business Transformation Outsourcing IBM Integrated Supply Chain September 2005 – November 2007 (2 years 3 months) BTO Strategy and Planniing - Supported 15 Fortune 500 accounts where IBM has long term contracts in place to provide procurement services. Responsble for world-wide budgets/expense, recruiting, staffing, training. Set up domestic and overseas low cost sourcing procurement centers. Director, Asia Pacific Production Procurement IBM Integrated Supply Chain November 2001 – September 2005 (3 years 11 months) Managed $6 billion electronic component buying operations, point of sale procurement engineering; software development; finance/planning; accounts receivable and new business development and maintained close relationship with Singapore's Economic Development Board. • Integrated staff of approximately 250 professionals located in Singapore, US, France and Hungary, into single functional unit delivering improved operational / financial performance and resource efficiencies • Created and launched independent procurement organization for Lenovo based on IBM's divestiture of personal computing division - Newly created organization able to function as independent entity immediately upon day 1 start up • Led IBM's renegotiations with Singapore government's Economic Development Board, that resulted in new long term tax incentives for both IBM and Lenovo
