Biography
Kenan-Flagler Business School
Lori Boyer teaches management communication at UNC Kenan-Flagler.
Dr. Boyer’s research examines topics of impression management after an organizational crisis, ethnic diversity, interviewing, Facebook and the workplace, and historically Black colleges and universities’ internet presence.
Her work has been published in the E-Journal of Business and Economic Issues, Business Communication and Professional Quarterly, Mustang Journal of Marketing and Management, Southeast Case Research Journal, Public Relations Review, Southwestern Mass Communication Journal and Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication.
Dr. Boyer comes to UNC Kenan-Flagler from Clark Atlanta University, where she taught business and managerial communication in the School of Business. She also has been on the faculty at Texas Tech University and Louisiana State University.
She received her PhD and MA in mass communications from the University of Florida and her BA in English from Spelman College.
