I am based in: Malmok

I was born on a beautiful island in the Caribbean, called Aruba. My brother and I grew up in a loving home, with wonderful parents, surrounded by our friends, who all played in the same neighborhood. I left the island when I was 17 to attend university in the U.S.

I married right after graduation and lived in the U.S. for a number of years, working in a number of Sales & Marketing-related jobs. I divorced a few years later and returned home broken-hearted, but determined to start over. I joined our family company and began a career building our company with my dad and brother.

After over 15 years in the family business, I decided to take a sabbatical for two years to study theology and answer God’s call to plant a church. I have now pastored a thriving congregation for over 17 years while continuing to lead our businesses in various executive positions. Today, I still lead as a member of the Supervisory Board.

My passion is to equip and encourage people to discover their unique leadership strengths as they find their purpose and play a part in the transformation of our nation. This passion led me to bring together people from various disciplines and backgrounds to start a Civic Movement called HopeAruba.

HopeAruba''s vision is: To have well-informed and empowered individuals, families, and communities working together, using their voice and potential to produce solutions for collective well-being.

Its mission is: To engage and connect individuals to participate in national transformation.

When I am not working, I enjoy swimming, reading, music, being out in nature and enjoying my friends and family.
