Alberta School of Business
Linda Miller, PhD is a occupational therapist and certified ergonomist. She started EWI Works in Edmonton in 1991, specializing in injury prevention in heavy industry, health care and utilities.
Linda completed her Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Alberta in 1989. With a keen interest in design, she went on and completed a Master of Environmental Design in 1992. In 2012, Linda completed a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Boston University examining how to improve green building design to meet the sustainability needs of occupants in commercial spaces.
Along with operating EWI Works, Linda is a Clinical Adjunct Professor in the U of A’s Faculty of Rehabilitiation Medicine in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She’s also an advisor on the movement committee for WELL – International WELL Building Institute.
Linda believes how we design spaces and buildings truly impacts health and wellness.
