Liisa O'Neill is director of marketing at Pacific Science Center, where she leads promotions, campaigns, advertising, digital channels, branding, communications and design. Previously, O'Neill ran digital advertising for major retail brands at a performance marketing start-up, New Engen, including SEM and paid social. As a senior member of the marketing team at Socrata, a leading open data software company marketing to government officials, O'Neill brought a customer viewpoint to sales enablement, customer marketing, channel marketing and go-to-market, growth strategies.

Before Socrata, O'Neill’s roles included director of digital communications and citizen outreach for New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, new media specialist for the Obama administration at the Energy Department, new media director for Governor Cuomo’s successful 2010 campaign, and strategic marketing consultant for various private and public sector clients. A graduate of New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, O'Neill began her career as a digital producer at ABC News and New York Daily News.
