Hertie School of Governance

Licia Bobzien is a PhD candidate at the Hertie School of Governance. In her dissertation she examines how individuals perceive social inequalities and patterns of social mobility and asks how these perceptions translate in subjective states. Before joining the program in 2016, she studied Sociology and Economics at the University of Mannheim. Licia has worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Macrosociology and the Collaborative Research Center Political Economy of Reforms at the University of Mannheim for three years.
