Leng Seow Tan received the B.Eng. (First Class Hons.) degree from the University of Singapore, Singapore, in 1976, the M.Eng. degree from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 1981, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, in 1985, all in electrical engineering.,In 1979, he joined the National University of Singapore as a Senior Tutor, where he was the Deputy Head (Administration) of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore from 1999 to 2007, and is currently an Associate Professor. His recent research interests include the fabrication, characterization, and modeling of high-power and high-temperature gallium nitride-based transistors.
