Biography
I am a STEP Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Program in Science, Technology and Environmental Policy, Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, working with Professor Michael Oppenheimer. I combine theory, multi-scale numerical modeling, remote sensing and in situ observations, and cutting-edge statistical methods to study environmental fluid mechanics and land-atmosphere dynamics that relate to climate change, urban environment, climatology, hydrology, climate impacts and adaptation. Before coming to Princeton, I received my Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Science from the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Yale University in the summer of 2015. My doctoral advisor is Professor Xuhui Lee. I received my bachelors degree in Atmospheric Physics from Nanjing University, China.

Biography
Lei Zhao is an Assistant Professor in Finance at ESCP Europe, where he teaches postgraduate courses in Portfolio Management, and Derivatives. He holds a PhD in Finance from the ICMA Centre, University of Reading. Prior to joining ESCP Europe in 2015, he was a teaching assistant at the University of Reading. He also worked for a commercial bank and an annuity trustee company in China. He passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam.
Lei has an active research interest in credit, liquidity and systemic risk, financial (bank) regulation and financial econometrics. He has presented his work at leading academic conferences, such as the meetings of the Financial Management Association (FMA) and Paris December Finance Meetings.
