Boston University

Professor Staples is a Clinical Professor of Macro Social Work and Director of the BRIDGE Program (Building Refugee & Immigrant Degrees for Graduate Education). His research interests involve grassroots community organizing, consumer/community empowerment, leadership development, task oriented group work, international development and immigrant rights. He is incredibly well published and the 2011 recipient of a Career Achievement Award from ACOSA (Association for Community Organization and Social Administration).
