Leah Vedder

Hi, I'm Leah, and I'm an Administrative Assistant for the Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (SDA) team. I joined the team in May 2022 and have since been actively involved in planning and organizing events, issuing payments, scheduling, and researching policy. I also contribute to the team's outreach efforts by writing newsletters and promoting the team's initiatives on Instagram.

In addition to my daily responsibilities, I have worked on several key initiatives such as the 2023 THRIVE Conference and drafting the Bias Response Policy, which is currently in progress. I'm part of the Undocumented Student Support Committee, which aims to provide support and resources for undocu+ students.

I earned a B.A. in Sociology from Temple in 2019. Being a low-income (FILM) student myself, I appreciate the support that the SDEI team offers students.
