Rotterdam School of Management

Professor Lawrence Pratt, from the United States, holds a Master of Public and Private Administration from the Yale University School of Management. He graduated from the College of William and Mary (Williamsburg, Virginia, 1987), with an AB in Economics.

He is a tenured professor at INCAE, where he teaches courses on sustainable development and sound business strategy, both environmental and social, in INCAE's Master's Programs as well as in Executive Education Programs. From 2009 to 2015 he was Director of INCAE's Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS), having served as Associate Director of the Center since its foundation in 1996.

Prior to joining INCAE, he was at the Institute of Environmental Law where he worked with governments and the private sector in Latin America and the US to find ways to strengthen the commitment of the business sector to improve environmental and social development through through the formulation of national and state policies, as well as a greater awareness of the opportunities to strengthen competitiveness. Previously, he worked at the United States Environmental Protection Agency – designing and implementing non-regulatory strategies to improve the environment and public health.
