Biography
Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
Lawrence specializes in behavioral economics. Specifically, he uses insights from behavioral economics to better understand how people make decisions, and to design behavioral intervention programs for public policy. Some of his current research include designing a behavioral intervention program for diabetes patients in Singapore; an empirical investigation of behavioral biases in physicians’ decision-making in the emergency and in obstetrics departments; and the impact of new digital booking platforms on the efficiency of the taxi market in Singapore.
Lawrence received PhD in Economics from Cornell University in 2018. Prior to joining Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, he was an assistant professor at the Centre for Behavioural Economics, NUS Business School.
