Laura Derksen is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management with the Department of Management at the University of Toronto-Mississauga. She is an applied microeconomist with research interests in health and development. Laura''s research investigates the link between the diffusion of information, social interactions, and health seeking behavior. She tests theoretical models of behaviour by conducting randomized field experiments, and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data from administrative health records and individual interviews.
