Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

Larissa Schäfer is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). She has been a visiting scholar at Columbia University, Lancaster University, and Cass Business School as well as a consultant at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and a Junior Fellow of the European Banking Center of Tilburg University.

Larissa Schäfer works in the area of financial intermediation and international finance. Her research has been published in leading international journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Finance and Management Science and she has presented at conferences such as the FIRS and EFA. She received a PhD in Finance from Tilburg University.
