Biography

Kyle earned his Master of Social Work from Simmons University School of Social Work and obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in the Relational and Multi-Contextual Treatment of Trauma and served as adjunct professor. Prior to joining Massachusetts General Hospital as an inpatient palliative care social worker, Kyle served as a clinical social worker at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he completed the Post-Master's Fellowship in Cognitive Neurology Social Work.
Kyle has extensive experience supporting individuals along the continuum of health, including those diagnosed with life-changing, chronic and progressive illness. Kyle served as clinical social work lead for several clinics at BIDMC, including ALS, Huntington's Disease, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. In addition to his extensive experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, Kyle has presented on various topics both locally and nationally.
In addition to his clinical role at MGH, Kyle serves as a member of the Continuum Project, helping train medical providers in conducting serious illness conversations with patients and families. Kyle also serves on a committee engaged integrating health equity topics into the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship.
