Biography

King’s Business School

Kyle E Ingram completed his PhD in Organisational Behaviour at the London School of Economics (LSE) and Political Science in 2012. Subsequently, he has held Assistant Professor positions at the University of California – Riverside, Bournemouth University and The University of Greenwich where he served as programme director for the Bachelors in Organisational Psychology. In addition, Dr Ingram has served as an Assistant Examiner for the University of London.

Kyle's research focuses on the complexity of workplace relationships. More recently, he has explored the antecedents and consequences of “love-hate” relationships with organisational leaders. This work has been used to inform global corporations and influence policy in the United Kingdom. He has also been invited to the Houses of Parliament to discuss his findings – particularly around modern trends in management.

Together with his co-author Michael Jarrett (INSEAD), Kyle was given a prestigious award for submitting the best Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour case study with The Case Centre (see link below). This case, which discusses how to deal with an organisational saboteur during organizational change, continues to be a best seller for the publisher. He has also received a number of teaching awards from the University of California, the LSE, and the University of Greenwich – including the Vice-Chancellor’s ‘Excellence in Education’ award.
