Biography

Ksenia Koroleva is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Technology and Operations Management at Rotterdam School of Management of the Erasmus University.

She received her Ph.D in Information Systems from the Humboldt-University in Berlin, Germany in 2012.

The main focus of her dissertation lies in the analysis of information value and social capital on Social Network Sites. Her work on these topics has been published in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Information Systems, European Conference on Information Systems, Social Informatics, Journal of Information Technology, and the Journal of Identity in the Information Society.

Ksenia has received two runner-up best paper awards from the Association of Information Systems in 2011 (AMCIS2011, ICIS 2011). Currently Ksenia is working on projects in the areas of social network analysis, group communication dynamics and bounded rationality in decision making. Additionally, Ksenia is developing a behavioral research stream at the Center for Future Energy Business which focuses on user behavior, decision making as well as network analysis of relationships on the energy market.
