Cornell CALS
Kim Skellie is a partner of El-Vi Farms LLC in Newark, NY, which is a 2000 cow, 3400 acre dairy with 28 fulltime employees and as many as 20 part time staff during the harvest season. His main duties are Human Resources across all employees and direct supervision of the crew that works with the animals. His daily “get dirty” work is monitoring and treating transition cows. He strives to create a strong team effort with longevity to lead to good business results.
