Received NUS scholarship for post-graduate study at National University of Singapore. Pursued Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering (2005 – 2010). Published 7 international journal papers and 3 international conference presentations/papers as first author during my PhD candidature.
Professional Activities
Conference correspondence: Assisted to organize a symposium on ‘Microwaves in science and engineering applications, at International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies (ICMAT2011), Singapore.
Keynote/Invited talk
- Delivered keynote speech (as a representative speaker for Prof Manoj Gupta) on “Enhancing Ductility of Magnesium Using Composite Technology” at international conference: “Processing and Fabrication of Advanced Materials (PFAM XVIII)”, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan (Dec. 12-14, 2009).
- Delivered invited lecture on “Light weight High Entropy Alloys (LWHEAs) and its use as reinforcement phase in Magnesium” at one day workshop on ‘Recent Advances of Material Science’, Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, India, (27 July 2019).
