Kevin Diana

As the assistant director of the SmartState Center for Innovation + Commercialization, Kevin Diana is responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing special projects and facilitating research. Diana also has experience in the chemical and medical devices industries.

He earned a Bachelors of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Florida before earning an MBA at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business, specializing in innovation and entrepreneurship. While at the Moore School, Diana was a graduate research assistant at the SmartState Center for Innovation + Commercialization and interned for the SC Launch Program at the South Carolina Research Authority.
