Stanford Continuing Studies

Dr. Peng is an accomplished manager with a proven ability to develop and implement processes to startup new operations as well as optimize existing operations to increase efficiency and output. Managed wide range of projects from lab startup, new equipment introduction, and cross-site software development, as well as the introduction, development, and sustaining of an extensive semiconductor testing equipment base for product validation. He has been accorded more than 50 career awards in the areas of engineering design; software development; technical paper publication; problem resolution; project management and execution; teamwork; and leadership.

He is a passionate educator teaching master courses in project management, human resource management, operations management, and equipment management at Santa Clara University since 2001 and taught MIS courses at San Jose State University previously. He has published two books and many papers in respected journals and forums such as Engineering Management Journal of IEE, Manufacturing Engineer of IEE, Journal of Advanced Materials, and SEMATECH Manufacturing Management Symposium.

He is an actively volunteer participated in many K-12 educational programs such as Junior Achievement (JA), Industry Initiatives for Science and Math Education (IISME), Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), Science is Elementary(SiE), National Engineers Week, Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), PC Pals, etc.
