Kenneth Man

I am a Lecturer in Pharmacoepidemiology and Medication Safety with a background in Statistics and Epidemiology. The primary long-term goal of my research is to understand the safety and effectiveness of medication through utilising observational data. This encompasses developing, refining, and implementing advanced epidemiological approaches and statistical methods with data all around the world.

I have a particular interest in psychotropic medications especially their use in children and pregnant women. Results from my research have led to over 95 publications in peer-reviewed journals including the BMJ, JAMA and Lancet family of journals.

I was the recipient of the CW Maplethorpe Fellowship when I joined UCL School of Pharmacy in 2018 to look at the safety of psychotropic medication in pregnancy. I am currently receiving funding from the European Commission Horizon 2020 Framework and the UK National Institute of Health Research.
