Biography

Katarzyna Bilicka is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Utah State University Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. She is also a CEPR and CESifo Research Affiliate and an International Research Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation.

Prior to coming to USU, she spent a year at the National Bureau of Economic Research as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Long-Term Fiscal Policy. She obtained her PhD (DPhil) in June 2017 from the University of Oxford and Nuffield College. Before starting her DPhil she was a Research Fellow at Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics and a Master’s degree in International Financial Economics, both from the University of Warwick.

Her research fields are public economics and public finance with a focus on corporate tax avoidance of multinational firms.
