Mr. Nasser has more than 20 years of business experience in Brazil and other emerging markets and 14 years of real estate experience with Hines, which started when he joined the firm in 1999 as the Regional Controller for South America, responsible for the operations start-up in Brazil and Argentina. Prior to that, Mr. Nasser was the Manager of Financial Reporting for Whirlpool’s Latin American Appliance Group. After receiving his MBA in 2006, Mr. Nasser re-joined Hines Emerging Markets Group in Houston, where he was responsible for the analysis of the $1.1 billion Hines CalPERS Brazil I and Brazil II Funds, covering developments and acquisitions in the industrial, for-sale residential and office sectors. He was also directly involved in structuring of Hines’ first investments in India with the co-mingled $480 million Hines India Fund and oversaw part of the Hines CalPERS investments in Mexico. Since 2008, Mr. Nasser is fully dedicated to existing and prospective Brazilian investments and has worked to raise and invest more than $1.2 billion in additional equity spread over more than 40 projects in Brazil.
