Zicklin School of Business
Karl Lang, PhD is a Professor of Information Systems at Baruch College, as well as the Executive Officer of the PhD Program in Business.
Dr. Lang specializes in the areas of IT strategy, digital business, cognitive computing, globalization and technology, and issues relating to newly arising information society. His work has been published in leading industry journals, including the Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association of Information Systems, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Information Systems Frontiers, and Annals of Operation Research. He serves on the Editorial Boards of the journals Information and Management, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, and Decision Support Systems.
Prior to joining Zicklin, Dr. Lang has held previous positions at the Free University of Berlin in Germany and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and has consulted in the United States, Germany, and Hong Kong.
Dr. Lang holds a PhD in management science from the University of Texas at Austin.
