Kapil Sharma is an experienced executive, entrepreneur and adviser to leading Pacific Northwest companies. He is currently the managing director at Zachary Scott & Co. in Seattle, where he leads acquisition advisory and strategic consulting engagements. As managing director, he leads industry and value chain analyses to identify attractive markets and target companies. Sharma also helps businesses with market sizing and forecasting to understand growth opportunities.
Prior to his position at Zachary Scott & Co., Sharma led Step Up Partners, an advisory firm focused on business planning, market development, raising capital, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously he was a senior executive at an innovation-focused investment fund, where he was responsible for strategic sales, business development, product strategy and deal negotiations. Sharma also has prior experience at McKinsley & Company, where he consulted leaders of Fortune Global 500 companies on business strategy.
Sharma holds an MBA from INSEAD and has been teaching with UWPCE since 2011.
