Macquarie Graduate School of Management

Jun is an Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour in the Department of Management in Macquarie Business School. He received his Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management in the University of Toronto, and his M.A. in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management from the Guanghua School of Management in Peking University. He has previously held academic appointments in Monash Busines School (Melbourne, Australia) and Sauder School of Business (Vancouver, Canada). He has held visiting positions in a number of top universities, including University of Melbourne, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Toronto, and University of Macau.

Jun studies management topics such as behavioural ethical decision-making, leadership, and negotiation. His work has appeared in top international peer-reviewed journals such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes (Impact factor=4.15, ABDC A*, Financial Times 50), Journal of Organizational Behavior (Impact factor=5, ABDC A*), Journal of Experimental Psychology: General (One of the best experimental journals for social psychology and decision-making with an impact factor of 5.3, ABDC A*), and Journal of Business Ethics (Impact factor=3.8, ABDC A, Financial Times 50). Together with his research teams, he has secured five competitive government and industry grants, with a total amount of AUD$487,000, from major funders such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, Coal Health & Safety Trust (CHST), Australian Coal Industry's Research Program, and Weishi BioMedical Limited.

Teaching

Jun adopts the cutting-edge curricula and teaching methods in organisational behaviour and human resource management from elite business schools. His vision is to help students develop into effective leaders and executives who combine classic business wisdom with the latest management ideas, tools, and skills to tackle tough managerial issues. He currently offers three core management units in Macquarie Business School’s MBA program: Organisational Behaviour (MMBA8070), Leadership Practice and Development (MMBA8075), and Negotiation: Theory and Practice (MMBA 8084).
