Julie Velissaratou

Julie Velissaratou is a highly experienced business integrator, with diversified industry knowledge and a track record of managing interdependent projects in various environments. Julie is an MBA graduate from London Business School with specialisation in marketing and entrepreneurship and a Design Thinker certified by INSEAD. She has operated in B2C, B2B and B2G environments and has C-suite & BoD exposure.

Julie focuses on the design of users’ experience by integrating process re-engineering and spatial concepts. She is passionate about improving education by transforming learning environments.

She is a senior public policy advisor in the area of learning environments with extensive experience in intergovernmental organisations and public administration. She is a member of the team that developed the OECD School User Survey. She has been a speaker and organiser of international conferences and she has worked with the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. She has extensive experience in project management, through various roles in the Athens 2004 Organising Committee and News International UK.

Her industry experience spans across print media, sports, education, infrastructure projects, international and national public sector, start-ups, health, retail, online business, local administration.

Julie Velissaratou is a chartered architect from the National Technical University of Athens and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 1999. She is fluent in English and Greek and she also speaks Spanish and French.
