About
Professor Díaz’s research spans the fields of International Trade and International Macroeconomics. His work analyzes the effects of trade and financial liberalization, with particular focus on the cases of the so-called “transition economies” of Central and Eastern Europe that joined the European Union in the 2004 and 2007 enlargement rounds. His research has been published in a variety of Economics journals, including Economic Theory, the Journal of Comparative Economics, the Journal of International Money and Finance, the Southern Economic Journal, and Economic Inquiry.
