Judy Foxman

Bio

Judy Foxman is a senior lecturer of marketing at the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (SMU), where she teaches Fundamentals of Marketing, Sports Marketing, and the Honors Marketing Practicum in the BBA Program.  Additionally Ms. Foxman has taught in the Cox Executive Education Program and has served on the faculty of the SMU/Cox Graduate Marketing Certificate Program.  She is the recipient of the "C. Jackson Grayson, Jr. Endowed Faculty Innovation Award", multiple Cox Business School teaching awards for excellence in undergraduate teaching, and twice has been selected for inclusion in Who''s Who Among America''s Teachers.  Ms. Foxman also received in 2000 and 2012 the "SMU Extra Mile Award" in recognition of excellent teaching for those who learn differently given by the Students for New Learning.

Since 2011, students in the Honors Marketing Practicum have been charged with developing comprehensive strategic marketing plans for FOX Sports through their innovative FOX Sports University Program.  Prior class projects have included the development of marketing campaigns to increase viewership of Dallas Stars Hockey, Conference USA and Big 12 Football, and national campaigns involving soccer viewership and the FOX Sports Live sports news show.
