Judith Diamond has 30 years of experience in clinical legal education, supervising second and third year law students in the representation of indigent clients. Since 2008 she has been co-teaching the Asylum and Human Rights clinic together with Susan Akram and Elizabeth Badger. Her practice includes asylum cases before USCIS and the federal Immigration Court, Violence Against Women Act and U-visa cases involving domestic abuse, and Special Immigrant Juvenile cases on behalf of undocumented immigrant children who cannot be reunited with one or both parents due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Many of these cases involve practice before federal courts and agencies as well as Massachusetts Probate & Family and Juvenile Courts.
Professor Diamond also co-teaches courses in Pre-trial Advocacy, Trial Advocacy and professional ethics in conjunction with the AHR clinic.
