Biography

Joshua Reed joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Information, Operations and Management Sciences in July 2007.

Professor Reed's primary research interests are in the performance analysis and optimal control of stochastic networks arising in manufacturing and service systems. In particular, he is interested in applications related to telephone call centers.

Professor Reed received his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his B.S. with honors in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois.
