Dr. Klein is a neurologist who specializes in hospital neurology and diagnostic neuroimaging. He is Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and the founding Chief of the Division of Hospital Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH).

Dr. Klein graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and then from the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD) at Yale University School of Medicine. He is a 2009 graduate of the Harvard (BWH/MGH) Neurology Residency Program where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He then completed a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroimaging at BWH, and is board certified in both Neurology (ABPN) and Neuroimaging (UCNS).

Dr. Klein is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Neuroimaging and the Neurohospitalist Society, and Editor-in-Chief of "The Neurohospitalist" journal. He is a frequent lecturer at national and international conferences and has published across many areas of clinical neurology. With Allan H. Ropper and Martin A. Samuels he co-authored the 10th, 11th, and 12th editions of the textbook “Adams and Victor's Principles of Neurology”.

Dr. Klein was selected as BWH/MGH Neurology Faculty Teacher of the Year in 2012 and as a Distinguished Clinician at BWH in 2017. He is a Fellow of the American Neurological Association (FANA), the American Society of Neuroimaging (FASN), and the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN).”
