Biography
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy
Josh will be completing his Ph.D. in economics at Harvard University in May 2021. His research is focused mostly in applied public economics, but he is also very interested in finance and macroeconomic policy. His dissertation explores the economics of US firefighting amid a longstanding decline in fire incidence. He previously held roles as a research assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. He served as head teaching fellow for the courses American Economic Policy, Corporate Finance, and Psychology and Economics at Harvard University. He also holds a B.B.A. in finance from the College of William and Mary, where he graduated at the top of his class in 2010.
