Josephine Teo

Josephine Teo is INSEAD’s Instructional coach and ODC’s principal consultant. Josephine is an accredited coach and trainer of trainers, she is passionate about people development, and constantly seeks to empower her learners to bring out the best in themselves through sharing of knowledge and experience, and inculcating a spirit of inquiry and innovation.

Josephine Teo has some twenty years of work experience ranging from corporate to education, and from public to private sectors. A specialist in communication, she has held positions including Deputy Director of Corporate Communications to Marketing Director. Her various portfolios led to develop and implement communication strategies in speech crafting, management reports, internal and external stakeholder communication channels, as well as work negotiations. Her work led her to projects in China, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Currently based in Singapore, Josephine spent the last decade in the education and corporate training sector, having taught diploma and masters level courses, and conducted leadership and communication workshops for corporate executives. She also facilitated and coached potential adult educators and instructional designers for Singapore’s nationally-certified Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment programme; and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education course. In addition, she provided consultancy to companies in their instructional design and learning programmes.

Josephine believes in inspiring learners through the creation of a safe and learner-focused environment where collaborative learning is encouraged.

Josephine holds an MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario; a BFA in Film Production from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University; a Diploma with Merit in Mass Communication from Ngee Ann Polytechnic; a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education, and Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment from the Institute for Adult Learning in Singapore; as well as a business coaching certificate.
