Joseph Leung

With a wealth of experience in the information technology industry for over 30 years, Dr Joseph Leung is currently the Programme Director for executive development courses and training. He is also teaching IT and marketing-related subjects.

Dr Leung obtained his Doctoral Degree of Business Administration in 2015 from the University of Newcastle, Australia; Master’s Degree of Business Administration in 1993 from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom; Master’s Degree of Management of Information Technology in 1998 from Macquarie University, Australia; and Master’s Degree of Education in Information Technology in 2001 from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He has also acquired the Postgraduate Diploma in Arbitration; the DISC personality system qualification to become a Certified Behavioural Consultant. He also graduated with the Postgraduate Certificate in Managerial Psychology.

With regards to his professionalism, Dr Leung is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association; Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Internet Forum, Committee Member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIArb) East Asian Branch, Alternate Director of Joint Mediation Helpline Office (JMHO). He is a Fellow Member of the Singapore Computer Society, British Computer Society; Hong Kong Computer Society; Chartered Institute of Marketing; The Hong Kong Institute of Directors; Member of Association of Business Psychology; Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Association of Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators. Besides, he is the Accredited Mediator (General) of the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Ltd (HKMAAL). He has been invited as the Subject Specialist of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) since 2002; and is currently the Technical Advisor of ICT Industry Programme of the Employees Retraining Board. He is also the Panelist of Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC).

Dr Leung is a columnist and blogger for various magazines, newspapers and websites. He is invited to be the Honorary Consultant for the Unwire.hk / Unwire.pro. He is also the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Central Harbourfront.

Dr Leung is also a member of the Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre and the Savantas Policy Institute.
