Joe Kuriakose is head of Corporate Development and Global Licensing for Kimberly-Clark Corporation (K-C). K-C through its many brands including Huggies, Kleenex, Scott, Kotex, and Cottonelle is a leader in personal care, consumer tissue, and professional products worldwide. Over the course of his Corporate Development career, Joe has helped lead, originate, structure, negotiate and close numerous acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and minority investments globally. Joe joined his current role at K-C two years ago. He works closely with company leadership to develop and maintain a robust M&A strategy that aligns with company goals to generate a pipeline of actionable ideas. He and his team then originate, evaluate and when it makes sense, execute on those ideas. Before joining K-C, Joe spent 21 years at General Electric Company most of it in their Business Development function. While there, he worked on M&A transactions in the Aerospace, Power and, Insurance sectors. Joe started his GE career in India in the Financial Management Program. Subsequently, he was selected to join GE’s Corporate Audit Staff where he completed assignments at various GE businesses all over the world. Joe has an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Mysore in India and an MBA in Finance from the T. A. Pai Management Institute. Joe, his wife, and two children live in Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
