Mendoza College of Business

John Rooney is the Director of Graduate Business Career Services for the University of Notre Dame.  In his current role, John is responsible for career services and corporate relations for Graduate Business programs; including MBA, MSA, MSM, MSBA, MSF, Executive Education, and graduate business alumni.  
 
Prior to joining Notre Dame, John Rooney was Director of Marketing on the Dixie cup and plate brand for Georgia Pacific (GP).  During his ten year career with GP, he also managed various private label businesses and the Soft ‘N Gentle bath tissue brand.  
John also worked for Chevron Oil Company where he served as Marketing Manager for New England. 
 
John received his BA from Hillsdale College where he was a double major in English and Political Science.  He received his MBA from Notre Dame in 1995.
