John Rolph applies statistical methods to public policy issues such as juror systems, medical malpractice, and criminal justice. His research has appeared in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Management Science, and the Journal of the American Statistical Association. Past editor of CHANCE, he is a fellow of the American Statistical Association, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and has chaired National Academy panels on the National Ballistics Database and National Statistics. Professor Rolph has consulted for General Electric, Kaiser Health Plans, and State Farm Insurance.
