John Hudson Messerall is a creative marketing strategist with extensive experience crafting authentic stories designed to ignite and engage with audiences all around the globe.
As an associate creative director with the Seattle-based boutique creative agency Indigo Slate, Messerall helps drive creative initiatives and strategic narratives with bold messages and story arcs for some of the most recognizable brands in the world.
He is also a producer and co-host of the original podcast series True North Story® and a deftly skilled writer. His creative works include screenplays, short stories, television pilots, more traditional media content and business features in national and international publications.
Messerall is a disruptive innovator who is passionately committed to remaining unlabeled and continually redefining the envelope when it comes to crafting branding themes that engage, inspire and encourage. A fierce advocate for one’s original voice, he helps audiences find their own and demands authentic interactions from every brand audiences encounter, regardless of platform.
John earned an MBA in marketing leadership and a bachelor's in broadcast journalism with a dual minor in theatre and drama.
