John Glushik is a general partner at Intersouth Partners, one of the most active and experienced early-stage venture funds in the Southeast.

Mr. Glushik has a background in engineering and consulting in the IT sector. He is actively involved with most of Intersouth''s technology portfolio, including SmartPath, Overture, Neolinear, Xactional, Ziptronix, Defywire, Artifact, Covega, Infoglide and Lambda. He has played a lead role in many of Intersouth''s recent technology investments.

He has received numerous industry and academic awards, including a Draper Fellowship from MIT.

Mr. Glushik also worked as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and as a software engineer with GE.

He received an MBA from Northwestern University, an MS in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT and a BS in mechanical engineering and materials science from Duke University.
