Joana Teixeira

My name is Joana Teixeira and I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, where I currently live and where I have the Therapist, the first chain of therapeutic restaurants in Portugal.

My professional background is in brand management and sales, in companies such as Leo Burnett, Heineken, and Mondelez (formerly Kraft Foods). It was 10 years ago that my life changed, when I had a health issue that I could only solve through non-conventional therapies, a big change in my eating habits, and a big search for knowledge.

Three years ago, I left my job as Brand Manager for the biggest chocolate brand in Europe and created the Therapist. When I'm not at the restaurants, I am with my three-year-old son, traveling with my husband, at the gym, or creating new fantastic healthy recipes to launch.
