Biography

Dr. Jiyao Chen is an Associate Professor of Innovation Management in the Oregon State University College of Business. Prior to OSU, he was a research associate at the Center for Research in Technology and Innovation, Kellogg School of Management. His Ph.D. (Technology Management) was earned at Stevens Institute of Technology. His primary research interests include technology and innovation management, new product development, time-based strategy, a practice view, and ambiculturalism. His research has appeared in the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and IEEE Transactions of Engineering Management, among others.
