Biography
Mason School of Business
James M. Olver is an Associate Professor of Business at William & Mary. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Virginia, and has held visiting professor positions at the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo, Japan. His research has been published in such journals as the Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Consumer Marketing, Sloan Management Review, and Marketing Science. He engages in consulting and executive education in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, in industries ranging from health care to information technology. In 2014, he received the Thomas and Teri Dungan BBA Teaching Fellowship Award for his contributions to the undergraduate educational experience.
