James Fuehrmeyer''s prior experience includes 5 years with the US Army Infantry (Captain) and 27 years with Deloitte & Touche (18 as a partner), most recently as partner responsible for audit quality assurance in the Chicago and Eastern Iowa practices. He is married to his high school sweetheart; has two daughters (ND alumnae), and three grandchildren. Jim enjoys swimming, and biking, and is a fan of Thomas Merton, CS Lewis, Tolkien, Dickens, Rowling, Faulkner, Flannery O''Connor, and Matthew Kelty. He received the Blessed Basil Anthony Moreau, C.S.C. Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2010, the Dincolo Outstanding MSA Professor in 2012, the Dincolo Oustanding Undergraduate Accounting Professor 2013, and a Rev. Edmund P Joyce CSC Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching in 2013.
