With almost 30 years of service in the U.S. Government, Jim Cooper lends his considerable experience in public policy, healthcare, and law to Vanderbilt when Congress is not in session.

Jim represents Tennessee’s 5th District in the United States Congress, serving on the Committee on Armed Services and Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He previously served on the Energy & Commerce, Financial Services, and Small Business Committees.
